4x400 Meter Relay Team - First in State

The Lady Pirates set a Class 3A state record in the girls' 4x400-meter relay at the UIL State Track and Field Championships on May 12, 2007. The relay team ran the 4x400-meter relay in 3:50.02, more than two seconds better than the old 3A record of 3:52.04 set by Poth in1989, setting both a state and school record. La Vega finished fifth in the 3A team standings with 32 points and was one of four Central Texas teams to land in the top ten.


4x200 Meter Relay Team - Third in State

The Lady Pirates 4x200-meter relay team received bronze medals at the State Championships finishing in 1:39.96. This is a school record.
