Comments: I married Johanna
Reed, a native of England, in 1990. We have 2 beautiful daughters
Hannah & Rachel and live on some small acreage between Colorado Springs
and Denver. Johanna who was a software engineer left her career to
be a full time mom and home-school teacher. Our hobbies are travel
(have traveled most of the U.S., Europe and some of the Pacific Rim), camping,
skiing (snow), and music (have long since given up the trumpet in favor
of acoustic guitars). I also have a grown son, Derrell, who lives in Salt
Lake, Utah and a granddaughter, Emily.

Comments: I attended Baylor and received my BS in August, 1972; MS in August,
1979. I completed a Supervision Certification from Stephen F. Austin in the Spring
of 1993. And, July, 1999, I attended a Graduate Course at Harvard University regarding
Performance Assessment. Yes, "I pahked my cah in Havaad Yaaad!!!!" My
last 21 educational years (out of 30) ended with my retirement from the Humble
ISD. I was in the classroom for 11 years and finished the rest as an Instructional
Coordinator of Student Wellness at the Central Office level. Yes, that was great!
I co- authored a book, Implementing Character Education and delivered many conference
sessions for character education from Texas to Nebraska. I was actively involved
in the Texas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance
for ten good years. I was privileged to serve in a Leadership capacity during
that time and was selected... Texas K-12 Health Educator of the Year, 1999. In
retirement I am involved in a successful part-time business, my photography business
[www.freedmanphoto.com] and very active in the Second Baptist Church, North Campus.
You got it... the Single Adult Program. Yes, I found my "knight in shining
Armour twice" in life. However, I kept the horse and sent the knight packing!
I own my home in Humble, live each day to the best of my ability and thoroughly
enjoy staying in touch with fellow classmates from LVHS! Yes, I had a close call
with death in March, 2004 (all due to Sleep Apnea which caused Pulmonary Hypertension)...I
beat it though and I plan to be smiling for a very long time! Ky Yi Ya Likes 'Em...
In memory of H.P. Miles...he was also very cool...in the same fellowship with
Mabel Legg! We know Heaven is jumpin' to the slide of his trombone and everyone
speaks with proper grammar! AMEN! and thank them both! To the LVHS person who
edits and posts....my apologies for length, if you must, you may edit....I enjoy
writing...can you tell? Guess that's why I enjoyed my Journalism minor, huh?

Comments: I have been married to my wonderful
husband, Seba, for 21 years. I had one son, Jeff, from a previous marriage
who died almost 17 years ago. He would have turned 31 this year. But
God blessed me with a step-daughter, Kellie, who has given us a beautiful, loving
grandson, Joshua Jeffrey. I hope to eventually get to a reunion to see everyone.

one semester. I then married and moved to California where I attended Mt.Diablo
Valley College for 1 semester and then I attended CCSN here in Las Vegas for 2
semesters majoring in Communications.
Current occupation: I am a Job Developer
for the State of Nevada Employment Security Dept. (the unemployment office) -
they just changed our titles so now I am a Job Consultant. I started with the
State in 1983 and will celebrate 20 years with them February 2, 2003.

Comments: I have been divorced for quite
a few years. I raised my 2 sons on my own - Patrick and Kevin. I have 2 granddaughters
and 1 grandson from Patrick. My youngest son Kevin would have been 30 this
month of September. He passed away 2-12-02. I lost half of my heart this
year. I am excited about seeing all the classmates I knew from 8th grade
on to graduation at La Vega. I always thought it amusing that I graduated from
La Vega and ended up in Las Vegas.......just an "S" away. Well, I told you I thought
it was amusing. :) :)

from MCC as a Project Support Clerk and was just promoted last month to

Information: I cannot seem to get away from old habits. I have worked for LVISD
for 27 years and love it. I plan to retire after this year and take care of 5
grandchildren. Braden 12, Brennan 11, Brason 6, Macey 3 and Kaitlyn 10. I have
two children Brian and Tracy. I married an old boy from Arkansas and have been
married to him for 38 years. He is retired from being a superintendent of a school
here in Waco. I still love to sing and have recorded 4 gospel tapes. La Vega is
changing a lot. We have a new Jr. High that is located on Loop 340 close to Timbercrest,
where I live and my mother still lives. We are building two more school. A new
primary campus located were the old East La Vega use to be and a new elementary
campus on Wheeler Street. I fill very lucky because my family lives close to us.
My daughter and son live in the Connally district. Tracy just graduated with a
computer networking and administration degree and Brian has a degree in law enforcement.
He was on the drug task force and was a snipper for 8 years. The Lord has led
him to quit and enjoy life with his 3 boys and his wife. He is now superintendent
of a concrete and design company. God has been good to us and hope that all of
you are doing well.

Comments: My life journey started 28 years ago, when I married a very wonderful
man which I wanted to live my life with. We recently built a beautiful home in
Speegleville. Three years ago, I went back to work after the
deaths of my parents. Life has a way of throwing curves into our path, but through
it all, we are made stronger. I look back during the years at LVHS, and I find
myself a much stronger person with ambitions, which the teachers from LVHS stored
in our lives. I'm truly blessed to have graduated from LVHS and a Big Thank You
goes to the Teachers who taught and nourish us all to Adulthood.
