Bid Procedures Vendors interested in providing commodities or services to the La Vega Independent School District should request to be placed on the District's bid list by contacting the LVISD Business Office, 3100 Bellmead Drive, Bellmead, Texas, 76705. Although LVISD utilizes the Bidding List in preparing bid invitations and quotation requests, placement on the list is no guarantee of solicitation.  LVISD reserves the right to use only a portion of the applications on file, whenever the list is excessive, or the estimated dollar value of the contemplated purchase does not warrant solicitation of the full list. The Business Office is responsible for soliciting formal bids of $10,000 for the District.  Formal bids are solicited through newspaper advertisement and bids are publicly opened and read aloud at a pre-announced time.
