Training Center Information

Chris Borland is entering his third year in the position of Instructional Facilitator of Technology. Prior to accepting this position, Borland worked for four years at H.P. Miles Middle School as a science instructor. While at H.P. Miles, Borland worked hard to incorporate technology into his class and served as a LITE (Leader in Technology Education) for three years. His goals for LVISD include the following:

• every La Vega student learning through the use of technology
• every La Vega student leaving LVISD with highly developed technology skills
• every LVISD faculty member developing solid technology skills
• every LVISD faculty member integrating technology seamlessly into their core curriculum
