The mission of the La Vega Independent School District Child Nutrition Office, recognizing the vital relationship between nutrition and education, is to ensure that every student is offered a high quality, well balanced, nutritious meal at breakfast as well as lunch, with friendly service, by a quality staff observing high sanitation and safety standards, utilizing cost effective management practices, and following the child nutrition program guidelines.
The National School Lunch and Breakfast Program at La Vega ISD is planned and managed by ARAMARK Food Services. We take pride in providing La Vega students with well-balanced, nutritious meals. The La Vega Child Nutrition Department provides FREE Breakfast, Lunch and Supper to all enrolled students of La Vega ISD.
Free and Reduced applications are not required for the 2021 – 2022 school year.
ALL La Vega ISD students receive FREE MEALS.
