District Improvement Plan

Provisions of the Texas Education Code requires every school district to develop a district plan to improve student performance. La Vega ISD uses a collaborative planning process that includes community review, staff input, administrative coordination to develop the district's education plan. Campus plans are developed and collapsed within the district plan. The district plan is developed annually to support state goals and objective under the Education Code, Chapter 4.

La Vega ISD's planning team is known as the "Vision In Action" (VIA) team. Annual review by the La Vega Board of Trustees provides oversight in procedures and alignment of goals and policies as they approve the district and campus plans.
