The Texas Education Agency evaluates public schools and districts under state and federal accountability requirements.  All reports of La Vega ISD can be found here. 

A-F State Accountability Rating - 2017-18 District Accountability rating are available. The 85th Texas Legislature passed House Bill (HB) 22, establish three domains for measuring the academic performance of districts and campuses: Student Achievement, School Progress, and Closing the Gaps. Each district received an overall performance rating, as well as performance in each domain. August 2019, campuses will receive A-F ratings. 

Texas Consolidated School Rating Report
- Combines the accountability ratings, distinction designations, Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) rating, and community and student engagement rating for each district and campus in Texas. 
Federal Report Card - The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), requires each State education agency to prepare and publish an annual report card with state-, district- and campus-level data. 
Texas Academic Performance Report - Pulls together a wide range of information annually on the performance of students in each school and district. The report provides extensive information on staff, programs, and demographics for each school and the district. 
Snapshot School District Profiles - provides an overview of public education for a particular district in a specific school year. In addition to state-level information, the profile contains characteristics of the district. Additional historical data is available for each district beginning with 2002-03 from the TEA Performance Reporting website. 
Performance-Based Monitoring Analysis System (PBMAS) - is a data system that reports annually on the performance of school districts and charter schools in selected program areas (bilingual education/English as a second language, career and technical education, special education, and certain Title programs under the No Child Left Behind Act). PBMAS Reports and Data


  Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) - Texas Education Agency's Financial Accountability Division oversees public school financial accountability and provides each district with a rating. La Vega received: A-SUPERIOR Rating. The ratings based on the school year 2016-17 data.


   Community and Student Engagement (CaSE) -  Each school district and campus annually evaluate its performance in the area of community and student engagement using eight specific categories. For review of the overall performance of the district and each campus see the ratings of Exemplary, Recognized, Acceptable, or Unacceptable for 2016-17.
