Mission Statement

Pirate Productions exists to provide a supportive and engaging environment where students grow as artists and individuals through theatre. We foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence both on and off the stage, emphasizing that learning through the arts enriches lives. Through performance and production, we prepare students to think critically, work collectively, and contribute creatively to an ever-changing world.

Pirate Productions

Pirate Productions is the Theatre Arts program at La Vega High School, where students discover the creativity, collaboration, and confidence that come from telling stories on stage. Through acting, directing, design, technical theatre, and production, students have opportunities to explore all aspects of the theatrical process while developing skills that extend far beyond the stage.

From classroom performances to full-scale productions and UIL One-Act Play, Pirate Productions gives students a place to create, take risks, work as an ensemble, and bring stories to life. Whether they dream of performing under the lights or working behind the scenes, every student plays an important role in the success of our productions.

Pirate Productions is more than a theatre program—it is a community where students create, collaborate, and find their voice.
