Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP): LVPS, LVES & LVIS
We are excited to announce that the La Vega Primary School, La Vega Elementary School, and La Vega Intermediate School will be participating in the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federally assisted invitation-only program providing free fresh fruits and vegetables to LVPS, LVES, and LVIS Students during the school day.
The FFVP helps schools create healthier school environments by providing healthier food choices, expanding the variety of fruits and vegetables children experience, and increasing children’s fruit and vegetable consumption.
Ask your student what fresh fruit or vegetable they sampled this week!
