Staff Wellness Update
February Staff Wellness | Black History Month & American Heart Month
February invites us to reflect, honor, and care both for our history and our health. As we recognize Black History Month, we honor the resilience, leadership, and lasting contributions of Black Americans who have shaped our communities and our nation. Their stories remind us of the power of perseverance, advocacy, and collective strength.
At the same time, American Heart Month encourages us to prioritize heart health, physically and emotionally. Wellness is an act of care, and caring for ourselves allows us to better support one another.
Wellness reminders this month:
- Make time for movement, rest, and nourishment
- Manage stress through mindfulness and connection
- Check in on your heart, body and mind
- Lean into community and support
