La Vega Online Academy Interest Form
Sports & UIL Activity Eligibility
Students who enroll in the La Vega Online Academy may participate in extracurricular activities if they meet all requirements for the activity:
- They physically reside in the La Vega ISD residential boundaries (La Vega ISD is their home district).
- They are enrolled in full-time course sections.
- They attend scheduled practices.
- They attend all performances or competitions before and/or after school.
- Students must have their own transportation to and from school.
La Vega Online Academy will follow UIL's eligibility rules.
- Grades will be monitored for eligibility purposes at the end of the school day on the last day of 3rd week and 6th week grading period.
- A grading period calendar will be made available to families.
- Students must be passing (70 or higher) all online classes to be eligible at the end of the 6th week grading period.
